Balancing Act

See you in Savasana

Savasana is a short period of deep relaxation at the end of a yoga class. It’s the culmination of your practice and a time to delight in self-blessings, good vibrations, and calmness of the mind. So grab your mat, head to a studio and find your bliss.

Because #HealedPeopleHeal, Connection Coalition offers Trauma Informed Outreach Training. This instruction prepares volunteers  to carry out a six-week yoga pro-gram in under-resourced communities such as schools, jails, shelters, rehabilitation centers, and foster homes. “CoCo,” as they call it, has already trained 3,200 volunteer teachers and invites you to join the movement. They encourage yogis, counselors, educators, social workers, and therapists to sign up. Yoga Connection, located in Davie, will be hosting training led by Jodi Weiner from September 7-9.
