Emeril Lagasse Foundation’s Line, Vine & Dine Fishing Tournament

Emeril Lagasse Foundation raised over $800,000 for non-profit organizations during
its second annual Line, Vine & Dine fishing tournament held in Fort Lauderdale. Proceeds
benefited the Emeril Lagasse Foundation in support of local charities ARC Broward
Culinary Institute and Dan Marino Foundation, which are both are dedicated to improving the lives of people with developmental disabilities and other life challenges. The event kicked off on a Thursday with a Captain’s Reception sponsored by HMY Yachts and Viking Yachts and was followed by a two-day sailfish charity fishing tournament, a Mardi Gras themed weigh-in celebration, and culminated with the Vine & Dine Seafood Cook-Off .

 

Metropica Tops Off its First Tower
Metropica, one of the nation’s largest under-construction mixed-use communities, has officially topped off construction of its first residential tower, Metropica One. Sunrise May or Mike Ryan and a number of city officials gathered recently with other invited guests at the project’s sales center to celebrate the completion of the structure, the development’s first of eight residential towers, and enjoy signature drinks, food stations, live music and other entertainment.
