Fiery Fall

Forget apple-picking this autumn—go for this libation instead.
Want to indulge in a fall cocktail, but could do without the guilt that comes with it? Take a cue from Brimstone Woodfire Grill, with locations in Doral and Pembroke Pines, and make this Fiery Appletini ($14), which combines two of autumn’s classic ingredients: antioxidant-rich cinnamon and apples.

FIERY APPLETINI RECIPE

■ Fill a shaker 3/4 full with ice.
■ Add 1-1/2 ounces of Jack Fire Whiskey, 1/2 ounce of Cointreau, and a teaspoon of cane sugar
■ Cover and shake for 10 to 15 seconds, or until condensation forms on the outside of the shaker
■ Rim your martini glass with cinnamon sugar and strain cocktail into glass. Garnish with a bruléed apple slice.
