Casa D’Angelo Taste of Italy

More than 125 guests came out when Casa D’Angelo founder and chef Angelo Elia hosted the 15th Annual “A Taste of Italy” event benefitting PACE Center for Girls Broward. The event, which raised $127,000 to help fund year-round academic, counseling and life skills services for girls enrolled at PACE Center for Girls Broward, began with a reception followed by a fast-paced auction of premium wines and vacation and entertainment packages. Afterwards, guests dined on a four-course Tuscan dinner prepared by Chef Angelo, and philanthropist Rose Miniaci was honored for her generous contributions to the community. Since its inception, “A Taste of Italy” has raised more than $900,000 with the mission to build better futures for young women through education, counseling, training and advocacy.
