Flying High Once Again

The Fort Lauderdale Air Show is back—and here’s the best way for you to take it in.

On May 5 and 6, millions will gather on Fort Lauderdale Beach to watch the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds perform in the Fort Lauderdale Air Show. If you want to watch the show but can’t deal with the idea of braving the madding crowds, head over to the newly opened Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, which will be hosting its first annual VIP viewing party on May 5 from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on the hotel’s elevated 20,000-square-foot Sky Deck overlooking the ocean, including valet parking, a DJ, reserved seating and unlimited Cinco de Mayo tacos and beer. The resort will also be serving its signature Cinco de Mayo cocktail, the Rosé Margarita, for guests to sip as they watch the show.

Tickets are $179 and can be purchased fortlauderdaleairshow.com.
